“Superheroes”
By Dulce Pinzon

Here’s a fun project from photographer Dulce Pinzon.  He photographed a number of Mexican and Hispanic everyday people dressed up like superheroes and photographed them in their work environment.  The idea of “superheroes” came to Pinzon when he considered how much these people sacrificed in order to help their families back home, in Mexico and elsewhere.  Please check out his artist’s statement for the project, because he goes into it in more detail and presents it much more eloquently than I have said here.
